A collection of tree prefabs currently in-game.

Prefabricated content (prefabs) are a collection of blueprints used for creating environmental structures. There are a total of 3785 different prefabs currently in Hytale.[1]

Trees[edit | edit source]

Trees seem to be the most common prefab and have many different types and variations mostly depending on the zone and biome. They appear to be composed of wood/log and leaf blocks.

Caves[edit | edit source]

Caves are found scattered underground on Orbis. Resources and creatures can be found inside. They are procedurally generated, based on rules that differ between zones.

Ravines[edit | edit source]

Ravines are deep cracks in the world that break through the surface of the world.

Mineshafts[edit | edit source]

Mineshafts generate down and across, creating large passageways underground, and provide access to expansive pre-existing underground structures.

Dungeons[edit | edit source]

Dungeons are features found underground in Orbis.

Generation[edit | edit source]

Dungeons are comprised of chambers joined by connecting passageways, often culminating in a "Final Room" which provides challenges and special rewards for the player. Dungeon entrances can be found above ground with two lanterns next to the entrance.

Portal dungeons[edit | edit source]

Portal dungeons are unlockable dungeons that players can explore. Players are limited in what blocks they can break within them.

Once unlocked, a portal will take a form and players can enter. Depending on where it is located, portal entrances can take several different forms.

Stone circles[edit | edit source]
