The Devastated Lands (zone 4; labelled in concept art as the Devasted Lands[1]) is one of the six zones on Orbis.
World Generation[ | ]
The Devastated Lands is a volcanic area with large lava flows throughout the zone. As the player progresses down underground they can slowly begin to find dark and lush underground Jungle.

The Devastated Lands are divided into five unique levels, numbered 0 to 4.[2]
Level 0[ | ]
Level 0, the aboveground area of the Devastated Lands,[2] is a harsh volcanic wasteland, covered in lava and ruins.
Level 1[ | ]
Level 1, referred to as the Devastated Caves,[2] are similar to the surface, but as the player progresses downwards, sporadic vegetation can be found.
Level 2[ | ]
Level 2 contains sparse vegetation, including the addition of small bodies of water.[2]
Level 3[ | ]
Level 3 is like a jungle, with large trees and dense undergrowth. Slothian villages can be found here.[2]
Level 4[ | ]
The jungle underneath the Devastated Lands.
Level 4, referred to as the Forgotten Jungle, is the deepest, darkest and most dangerous section of the Devastated Lands. The water from the higher levels traveled down and formed large pools.[2] Many different types of dinosaurs can be found lurking throughout this level and most creatures down here are equipped with bioluminescent properties.
